Presidency of the Republic of Bulgaria 1/25

In history of Bulgaria the country has been ruled by monarch, by collegial bodies like Presidium of National Assembly and a State of Council. The presidential council came into power in 1991. The President, as head of State is traditionally Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Bulgarian Armed Forces. This function is performed both in peacetime and in wartime. The functions of president are giving and reinstate bulgarian citizenship, appoints and dismisses senior civil servants, exercises the right to pardon and etc.
