Kvadrat 500 Museum Sofia Bulgaria 3/17

Kvadrat 500 is the newest and the biggest building of the National Gallery. Kvadrat 500 consists 28 halls on four levels. Also you can see 42,000 pieces made by Bulgarian and foreign artitsts. Bulgarian collection dates back to 1890s while foreign is prepared during 1980s. The history of museum dates back to 1880 when prime minister Petko Karavelov propose for etsablishing of State Printing House and was voted by National Assembly on 31 May 1880.
